New Shops in Town

Viyella and Country Casuals have just moved into the handsome shops previously used by Rymans in Butter Market. On the opposite side of the street, on the corner of Thoroughfare, White Stuff has recently opened. In Tavern Street the new iStore seems popular. If these are the sorts of shops which members of the Society and many other townspeople say Ipswich needs, let's hope they'll be well patronised. Meanwhile JDSports and Poundland are moving into bigger and more prominent premises. There's life in the old girl yet! [Editor]
