The Broomhill Pool

Following my article in last Christmas' Newsletter, just a quick update. The preliminary contract has been won by the Ipswich professionals that have been so supportive both in their time and services since the start of the campaign fourteen years ago. Led initially by Bill Haward and later by Alan Wilkinson, who is now with KLH Architects, the international tendering process has been won. Many of those tendering swam in the pool when young! The operator, Fusion Lifestyle, has commissioned Baker Langham to carry out a public consultation on our wishes and fears. They opened the exercise at the pool on Heritage Open Days.
