On Tuesday 25 September, we held a hospitality event for our corporate members at the John Russell Gallery in Wherry Lane on the Waterfront. There was an excellent turn out of fifty-two members and potential members. It was an opportunity for corporate members to meet the executive committee and each other. Our Chairman, Jack Chapman, gave a short talk about the aims and objectives of the Society and Neil Salmon spoke briefly about the Newsletter.
We are very grateful to Tony Coe for allowing us to use his gallery for this event. It was a fabulous venue and allowed us to view the exhibition he was holding at the time of John Brunsdon's etchings and paintings. Everyone present seemed to enjoy the evening, and we hope to be able to host similar events in the future.
