Your Committee has been preparing for this new government regulation on how personal data is held which comes into practice on May 25th. We are committed to protecting your privacy and have completed an audit of the information you give us on your membership forms. This showed that we are already doing things the right way to keep your information secure, and only minor adjustments to some forms are likely to be needed. Your contact details enable us to send you Newsletters (via our distributor through the post or direct to your email address) and other Society information and we do not pass them to anyone outside The Ipswich Society. We are developing an Information Policy document in line with the new regulation and this will be posted on to our web site for you to view when complete.
