Correction

In the October 2013 Newsletter in Troglodytic Ipswich about the long-demolished Stoke Hall I mistakenly said that by 1892 Stoke Hall was up for sale following the death of the owner Robert James Ransome of Ransomes, Sims and Jefferies. This should have read 'of Ransomes and Rapier, railway engineers', whose factory was quite close by at the Waterside Works on Griffin Wharf.
