Wolsey Statue Launch

Planning permission has been granted and the launch of the Wolsey statue project will take place in St Lawrence Church Centre on 7 April at 4 pm. Some of you may receive this Newsletter just in time to go, but in any case you will probably be pleased to hear about this progress. The chosen sculptor will show examples of his previous comparable work and explain how his design has been developed from research and ideas brought together by Dr Blatchly and others locally. The seated Wolsey (and his cat) will be in Curson Place near where he meant to live and facing towards St Peter's Church, the chapel of his great college.
