Heritage Open Days Ipswich

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September.
The Ipswich Society will again be organising the Heritage Open Days weekend in Ipswich in 2017.  Details will be published in the NEWSLETTER and added to this page when finalised.

2016 HERITAGE OPEN DAYS - Ipswich
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September.

The 2016 Heritage Open Days in Ipswich were organised by The Ipswich Society.  We published an A5 colour booklet with the details of each of the venues and a centre spread map showing the locations of all the sites.  This free booklet, as well as a two sided A5 leaflet, was available from the Tourist Information Centre at St. Stephen's Church in Arras Square, the Library in Northgate Street and many other venues around Ipswich and East Anglia.

The weekend was successful with record numbers reported at most venues.  With the popularity of this event increasing each year we may be making some changes for the 2017 event, adding more venues and maybe more buses, supplying more information handouts etc. at each venue and will keep improving our publicity material.  We would love to hear what you thought of the event with any ideas you may have to make it even better.  We hope you enjoyed your day and learnt something new about Ipswich.
